Just like your Wedding Day, your Marriage Ceremony may be as simple, and extensive, with lots of ‘moving parts’, loving, expressive and many more adjectives as you wish.

Your Registered Civil Celebrant has been trained and should be experienced to deliver exactly what you want. I always advise my couples to think about what is important to them, so those ‘important elements’ may be included in their unique Marriage Ceremony.

There are certain legal elements that cannot be changed, and your Celebrant will advise you regarding those requirements. However, the other areas, with the agreement of your Celebrant can be as individual and meaningful as you wish.

I recently read an article from a Celebrant who was ‘hanging up her shingle’ after 35 years. Her pride in having delivered every single marriage ceremony, individually written, individually delivered and personal for every couple, is an amazing achievement.

A recent example for me was a beautiful, loving very personal Processional: Bridal Party Entrance.  The bride and I worked on a Surprise Bridal Party Entrance. Whilst a bit tricky to keep it quiet and a surprise, it was one of the most significant and joyous entrances I have written. It told a story of their relationship, significant words that were mentioned along the way and the inclusion of very significant people, and family members.
